Pakistan’s CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Meets Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, met Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna late on Saturday.
According to a post shared by Muhammad Yunus on X (formerly Twitter), the meeting covered a wide range of issues concerning Bangladesh–Pakistan relations, including the growing importance of bilateral trade, investment, and defence cooperation.
The discussion also highlighted the shared historical, cultural, and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
General Mirza expressed Pakistan’s interest in strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors, noting the vast potential for expanding trade, connectivity, and investment between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
